The Nursing & Midwifery Council Social Media Guidance is underpinned by The Code, and covers the need to use social media and social networking sites responsibly.
It's not intended to cover every social media situation that a nurse, midwife or nursing associate may face, however it sets out broad principles to enable them to think through issues and act professionally, ensuring public protection at all times.
